Day 2: God Can us In Spite of our Flaws

Scripture: “But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was angry.” Jonah 4:1 (KJV)

Devotion:

Jonah had a serious anger problem. He didn’t want God to show mercy to Nineveh because he believed they didn’t deserve it. Yet, God still used him to deliver His message. Your flaws does not disqualify you. God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. You may feel inadequate – too emotional, too impatient, too broken. But God’s grace is greater than our flaws. As a wife, your imperfections do not disqualify you; they can be the very tools God uses to display His power.

Reflection:

Which flaws have you allowed to make you feel unusable?

Prayer:

Father, thank you for loving me through my weakness. Lord, today I ask you to use me despite my shortcomings. Mold me into a vessel fit for Your use, for Your name to be glorified, in Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

With love and grace,
